Pupils honoured at Foxes Learning Centre Graduation evening. The achievement of 60 pupils from Coleman Primary School, Soar Valley Community College, Wyvern Primary School and Madani Islamic High School were celebrated. The outstanding school and the outstanding pupil awards were claimed by Coleman Primary School and Jasmin Sahota from Soar Valley. Click here to read more.
With the announcement of the Peter Drucker Management Forum 2010 (click here to view) the Peter Drucker Society has launched an Essay Contest directed to the young generation. All those not older than 35 and passionate about the future of management and society may turn in their essay. There will be up to 40 winners with free access to one of the premier management conferences in the world – the Peter Drucker Management Forum Vienna, November 18 and 19, 2010. The authors of the top 3 essays will also be invited to participate in a senior executive event on November 17 in Vienna. For more information about the challenge, click here.
Pompey Study Centre success story. Despite Portsmouth FC’s relegation from the Premier League after a difficult season, Pompey’s Study Centre has gone from strength to strength. The Study Centre has remained a constant hive of educational activity. Figures just released reveal that 7,937 learners passed through the Study Centre doors in the last academic year – a 20 per cent rise on 12 months ago. Click here to read more.
