Message of the Month – October

Sustainability is still very much the focus for all of us involved in PfS. We understand that you are making some difficult personal decisions about whether to stay and fight on for the future of your centre or to seek other employment. We recognise that support is needed for both avenues.

Sustainability work continues with LA and club workshops coming up in the next few weeks. Case studies continue to be added to the website and we will be offering webinars to introduce Group 8 training which has the potential to bring in revenue for centres at the same time as sharing with schools best practice in engaging children in learning. We will also be offering career progression webinars to support you in updating your CV and preparing for interview.

A number of CMs have recently moved on (See details in this bulletin). It is heartening to hear that Centre Managers are securing new roles that reflect the skills and unique expertise developed through involvement in PfS.
